The Maryborough City Motel surprised me with its genuine hospitality. From the warm welcome at check-in to the comfortable room, my stay felt personal. The bed had a comfy mattress, and the cleanliness of the room stood out instantly. I appreciated the additional amenities, like a fridge and microwave, perfect for simple snacks. The staff here genuinely care about their guests. One downside was the traffic noise from the main road, which was a bit disruptive at times, especially in the early morning. Despite that, the convenient location made exploring the area easy. I would definitely return for another peaceful night.

The motel had good old-fashioned service from staff.
I was disappointed by the shower situation. it had a flimsy curtain and no light, which made it uncomfortable. The strong chemical smell in the room made it hard to sleep well and I had to air it out for hours. the noise from traffic in the afternoon was quite disruptive, and without fly screens, I couldn’t keep the window open or risk being bitten by insects.

friendly owners but some discomfort
The owners were incredibly helpful when I faced car issues, showing genuine concern for my family. The family room was spacious and met our needs well during our stay. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden view, which added a nice touch of nature to our experience.
The shower curtain was flimsy and could use a better design for privacy.
